Sports And Recreation Sector
The goal of this sector is to provide support for youth to effectively participate and develop the necessary skills through sports and recreational events and activities. The Dreamcatcher Fund believes that youth should be perceived as assets and contributors to the community by developing leadership skills through community-based activities. By taking part in organized activities and special events, individuals will feel like they have a greater role in their own communities. The Dreamcatcher Fund maintains that young people can increase the perception that youth are valuable contributors to the community, through real life experiences for youth and by creating new friendships and partnerships with other individuals.
